Press Release No. 37 August / 2018 In Santa Cruz THE DGAC PARTICIPATES IN THE TELEINFO EXPO NORMING THE USE OF DRONES IN THE BOLIVIAN TERRITORY The General Directorate of Civil Aeronautics (DGAC) is participating in the "EXPO TELEINFO 2018 FAIR" with a Stand located in the Brazil Pavilion, which was attended by specialized personnel in RPAS (Drones) and Operational Safety, in the city of Santa Cruz from August 14 to August 18, 2018
In this regard, note that given the increasing use of Drones the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) together with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), are working on a standard for the use of remotely piloted aircraft systems RPAs (DRONES) in Bolivian territory The regulations used by ICAO are the Latin American Aeronautical Regulation (LAR) for the use of remotely piloted aircraft systems (DRONES), which will aim to control drone operations in Bolivian airspace as well as ensure the Operational safety of the same.
