In February 2015, Morocco's Minister of the Interior and Minister of Foreign Trade issued a joint statement requiring that the importation of drones and other flying objects be pre-approved by authorities. Illegally imported drones will be seized by officials. Authorities cited terrorism concerns as the basis for the rule.
